How can I take adware off my computer?

I just purchased a software called kaspersky that was said to take care of this problem .It detected the adware on my computer but does not take it off. The adware that was automatically installed was SPYSHREDDER. Does any one have any idea how to completely take this out my computer Ive tried almost every thing but it still pops out .Ive tried deleting but it doesnt let me. Help?

    Kaspersky is one of the best anti-virus programs so your on a good start, but you also need anti-spyware software.

    No single program can detect and eradicate all spyware. It is best to use multiple programs, I recommend using Ad-aware and Spybot which are among the best (they are free).

    Webroot Spy Sweeper is the best, but it’s not free (see the Consumer Search source for more information).

    Running these programs in Safe Mode (tap F8 after powering on the computer and choose to boot to Safe Mode) can be more effective.

    Download Lavasoft Ad-Aware. I personally think it’s the best one out there.

    Avira Anti-VIR PersonalEdition Classic from teamed up with SPYBOT: Search & Destroy from are the 2 best free Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware softwares respectively, and should shift it.
